Medical DocumentsWhat is attestation? If you have a medical document issued in one country and need to present it within another country, it will likely need to undergo the process known as attestation, also known as legalisation. This will involve a series of steps of authentication from several government departments, ensuring the validity of the document and making it legally recogonised overseas. The steps involved will vary dependent on where the document will be presented and the purpose of the document. We can help you with the attestation of any medical documents issued in the UK. This covers documents such as (but not limited to):
To order the attestation of a medical document online, start by choosing your country. Please note that if you are supplying your own certified copies, a sample signature of the solicitor or Notary Public will need to have been registered with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO). If this has not been done, the FCO will take additional time to validate the signature before processing the document which will inevitably lead to delays to processing the attestation. Our solicitors certify documents on a daily basis and are already registered with the FCO.
